I am a proud owner of 2 white lined pims one silver one darker color. When there were profiles of fish i had mine as the only pictures on the profile.
After having them for years and knowing that there very rare in the hobby (belive it or not the lfs sold them as channel catfish fry) i wonder if all pictus are this odd or if only these certain ones make sqeaking noises. They tend to do it when they fight amongst themselves and its very audible. I also wonder if anyone has any detailed information on these cats or knows where to get them. Mine are quite interesting as when i added a dempsey and jaguar that eat all the good food they now swim in the middle and top with them and how they eat is they open their mouth and swim along the top scooping it up like a whale shark.
