This is the 33 Gallon long that i have him in... I intend keep him in there as long as possible since that setup costed me over $300 - I better get my money's worth in terms of time.

The pictures above were taken a few days ago when the water had still not settled - and there were still rosy reds with him (see the third picture.) The water is now cleared up since I added two bubblers to keep it moving, and he has devoured all of the rosies.

In the feeding thread I brought up grapes, and there were a few people who were skeptical that he would even go for them... here's the proof that he will. It's actually pretty comical watching him try to eat them, he grabs it in his mouth and uses his front claws to tear off whatever he can't fit in his mouth... It was actually a welcome site, because I'd never seen him actually eat (i knew he did since fish and other food I put in there disappeared) because he was too scared when I was around or something. Glad to see he's warmed up. anyway, onto the videos...

This last one I was holding back laughing, the 'what're you looking at... can a guy eat in peace here?' expression he gives off nearly had me rolling

Nice setup! I love that tank...is it a 4 foot? Wish I could find something like that around here....but (sorry), the water level should be about 2-3 times as deep as the turtle is long....You'll probably have to get rid of the slope and just have something he can climb up on....
