can anybody tell me why it is that in the aquarium forums sectio ie planted tanks and members pics section there is an option at the bottom of the window where you type your post to upload directly but in these tropical discussion and new to the hobby etc its not there

if so its there for all areas of the forum for me

thats the 1 yes in the aquarium forums section if you scroll right down it say choose file to upload . in the tropical fish section its not there

you need to get a photo host account. like photobucket or imageshack. after you upload your pictures there you simply paste the IMG link in this forum and the pictures will be posted.

yeah the option to upload pics isn't on every area of the forum.

i would expect it's something to do with uploading pics using up the site's bandwith so it's only in some areas but not all, if you regularly post pics a site like photobucket is best
