Gosh.....aren't we doing well . Hubby is in the process of moving him now. Luckily we have another tank at the moment but it's only free for another week or two. I think we will keep him and take the 1st male back as this one is much more impressive. I'm going to be paranoid now that they are all males but thanks for helping to clear up the mystery.

a white spot is never a 100% garuentee of a female... ive seen many young males with one, and ive seen the odd older male with a "false ovipositer" which i belive is nothing more than an sticky out bum

Well it looks like Netty and I have 4 females. A bit of bickering, but thats a female thing, isn't it ?

The male pk is happy in his new tank, will eventually get a few oto's to clear up the bottom. The first male we ended up with is the one we'll take back to the lfs as he's in Netty's tank and she's waiting for her HM to arrive. He's a nice fish but not as striking as the pk, and he thinks he's a cory, well he eats from the bottom with them anyway

The cambodian female is colouring nicely and seems to boss of the tank.

How long does it normally take females to establish their heirachy?

my husband says if you think fish are sexy you have been watching too much "fishy vision" as he calls it. fishy vision is me watching the tank instead of tv.

he is jk, but it is a very cute fish
