He's beautiful, but I must add that you really need to remove and replace those plastic plants ( they appear plastic from the pics) They usually have a lot of sharp little edges that can rip his fins if he squeezes past.

Replace with silk or even better, live plants and lots of them. Very much safer and better for his beautiful fins!

Very cute- looks just like my new Petco Halfmoon, Oscar, but in red instead of blue!

No tank mates, he's in a 3 gallon tank by himself with a filter and heater with the silk plants The ornament is just a rock with silk plants on it, but the stems seem to be the plastic part in the picture.

I don't see why silk plants are funny. He's pretty feisty and really nice to look at with it just being him, so I don't think I'll put any tank mates in there with him.
