Well today i went to pick up the three Bichirs
i ordered and it turns out that they had to
order a minimum of six.....so i did what we'd
all do and brought 4 lol

They're fantastic - love the pic of the one coming out of the ship :)

any plans for any tank mates or not? i imagine they would out grow and eat most things one way or another :lol:

Too right lol
I think (dont get me wrong) they maxx out at 12"-14"

so yes, tank mates will be tricky to find lol

I was thinking about some dats?! but not too sure how
big they get.

You got any ideas?
 
Go with a Black Ghost Knife. They would look cool in there the Bichirs and they grow to about they same size at the same rate. They will also eat the same foods. BKN also require the same water conditions.
 
I just traded in a BGK about 2 months ago lol

He was huge and i did like him but he got too big for my liking.

large loaches like tigers Syncrossus hymenophysa or blue loaches Yasuhikotakia modesta
deep bodied fish like silver dollers, red hooks and redfinned tetra tetragonopterus argenteus
fast moving fish like filament barbs barbus filamentosa elegant rasbora rasbora elegans
other polypterids (with care)
