Hope you like pleccy pics, thought I'd introduce you to the reasons I'm looking for a new tank - my plecs which are currently boarding in my hubby's 6ft community tank.

The whiptails - technically hubby's fish, but I think I might pinch them for my tank if/when I get one

My new baby cories (there are 5 of them, to join my adult albino cory, my metaes who may as well be invisible, my peppered and bronze, and trilineatas - none of which ever want to be photographed!)

My baby bristlenose (I think he's a common/sp.3)

Non-pleccy wise, here's some of my gold barbs (this pic was actually cut from the outside of Merricks photo - they were above him)

My rainbow cichlid/hertolipia multispinosa (?)

And finally, I have some spooky fish, they show up in 99% of my photos - looking head on at the camera as if to hypnotise you....they're evil, straight from the bowels of hell.....ok, well, from the LFS....my glowlights

Edited to add - it would seem that I cant spell/type herotilapia.

Thanks folks :)

Sam - these are in the 6ft x 2ft x 18", we rehomed our cichlid tank occupants to a lovely guy who had a 7ft tank waiting for them. Saynig that, at the time, they were in the bigger 6ft tank we had, which now is KathyM's. I'm going for a plec tank but smaller scale as my own tank, but that's looking more like it'll be in the future. I've only got the three plecs, and theyr'e all under 3-4 inches (well, rusty is 3-4", the other two are barely an inch *lol*). None will be big when fully grown, the two BNs (black eyed gold and common) will only reach about 4-5" max, and Rusty will only reach 8-10" at the most. Wont be going for any bigger ones - it'd mean one heck of a lot of work again, which I just cant manage any more.

Nice pics! I love Merrick - great name for a wonky headed pleco lol! He is a lovely colour. When we get a bigger house, hubby has now decided he wants a plec tank but like yourself, that will be in the future.

Rusty is lovely too!

Nice pictures :good:

I like the Rusty Plec and also your cories. How long have you had the Corydoras trilineatus? It took a while for mine to settle in, but once they did, they were easy to photograph. Ive got lots of pictures of them now :good:
