Hello there fellow fish lovers. I am pretty new on this forum and finding it very interesting. Although I am pretty hopeless when it comes to computers. I'm trying to add a picture on to my profile but it keeps telling me the pic has to be 100kg or less, but its impossible to cut a pic to 100kg, worthy of actually showing. Am I missing something here???

I think you mean 100kb. You'll need to reduce the size (the size of the whole picture, don't just crop it). I use photoshop, but there are a bunch of free programs online which will do what you need to do.
