Rich, what camera are you using? If you can lower your ISO speed to 200; this will help get rid of the noise/static/graininess.

I personally don;t see it as a waste of time. I had fun looking at all the photos, you all did good to make good photos, and so on. Really, it was fun. Competiton has no real prize here anywho. It was good as it was.
