ok so i got a 60 liter fish tank on monday it is now cycling today i got ph test kit

I checked the ph in the tap water which was 7.2 and i checked the water's ph in my tank and it is 7.6

What do you guys think? is that ok? if its not what should i do?

Your pH sounds ok for cycling. You should also set aside some tap water in a jar and see how that compares to the fresh tap water and the tank water. You can also do a jar with your substrate (gravel or sand) and see where that fits in to the experiments. (At least I find all this to be interesting data to have in my aquarium notebook, but its a bit much for some people, lol.)

You are fine there Gytas. There is some CO2 in your tap water that causes the pH to rise when it comes out of solution.
