I'm willing to go against the grain here...
Before posting here I was on a number of other forums as a non active member (lurked/never posted) and a number of blogs both UK and U.S based. Where I quickly found that although everyones method differs when it comes to fish keeping certain things are universal. Such as what size a fish can grow to, ideal temp to keep a certain species at, aim to over-filter as opposed to under-filter, which species are peaceful and which are not to name a few.
From this universal information I built the specifics of my stock list in a notepad. And by the time I had finished had a really untidy spec/care sheet for each of the breeds (23-25) that I had been interested in to help in creating a community.
Then I found that site through this forum and in short, everything I myself had researched in terms of temp mediums for the community, capacity, and which breeds could go with which was there and in simplified form.
Obviously the powers that be have blocked it but I would still recommend that site as a introduction to anyone building a stock list with the recommendation that they also do some research for themselves.
In regards to that site only accounting for 65% of the filters stated filtration rate that's something I also agree with. Having bought two tetratec external (the 65 and 7) filters only to find that they were bs(ing) about their filtration capacity first hand.
I have no idea why that site is blocked. But if it turns out that a moderator didn't like a certain aspect of information that was on there and then blocked it because of that...
Then to me, that's just a little too totalitarian for a aqua hobbyist forum
