Hi m8 welcome if i havent done it already else where lol.

Give people an idea on what you what to buy/trade/sell that way if they have it they can tell you about it?. Alot of stuff could and can be posted so it's not just fellow leicestians that may have somethink you want or need

True, but as im only young (16) I carn't exactually travel to places. Do you have good knowledge on tropical tanks/fish etc. as im looking for a friend that knows quite abit so can help me out ?

Every 1 here m8 started off not knowing anythink and everyone within reason is always happy to help.... any questions you may have will be answered by many knowlegdable people so basically just ask away.

As to the not traveling ... for instance im making the trip to your neck of the woods sataurday and many others travel about to so if there is anythink you need and somebody has and there willing to drop off while on there rounds, it's always good to give some sort of idea on what you are looking for.

i have a tank .... ornaments ... powereheads etc etc for sale but others may have alot of other things you may be after. and may be able to post.

We have members of all ages on this forum, and some of the some of the youngest are very knowledgeable, so please don't think of yourself as being very young. I suspect that once you get used to us here, your education in the sciences will make fishkeeping much easier for you than it was for some of us older folks who post here. Just think of us all as being your friends.

I suggest you look for a local fish club or society in your area. The members are always friendly, and are happy when a younger person joins their ranks. You will surely find fishkeepers in your neighborhood who will take you under their wing. In addition to talking endlessly about fish, most clubs have auctions and interesting guest speakers. It's not unusual to find fish there that are not available through any lfs. It's a fun thing to do.

Hey - I have tried to look for a local fish club in my area, but carn't find any..what you said sounds amazing! I could sit here all day talking about fish.

So if there is any leicester people that would take me under there wing let me know, or if they know about a local fish club. THANKS
