Peas

I fed my community cooked peas for the first time.

I knew I should shell them but gave up and dropped in a small cube

It was like a scene from a cross between The Exorsist and Jaws!!!!!

They all went absalutely nuts Charging about stirring up a green frenzy untill all that was left was a load of, yeah you guessed it, shells!

So, what's the best (easiest) way for the man who does NOTHING in the kitchen to present peas to the tank

All you do is pop them in water and put it in the microwave for a min or two. Once theyre soft just pinch them inbetween your fingers and the skinds come right off. Dont hurt yourself in the kitchen doresy

I hate peas...but luckily for the fish other people in the house like them ^^ I gave our fish one today...most of them ignored it, but the Keyhole really LOVED it and tried it's hardest to keep it away from all the others hehe.

I know what you mean, I occasionally throw peas in my cichlid tank, talk about frenzy! Good luck with the peas.

i use Birds eye frozen peas, they defrost quickly, and its simply a case of pinching the pea and it will pop out the skin. cooking of any kind will remove a lot of the stored goodies. and working on the assumption fish dont have microwaves, i see no reason to use one myself.

I knnow what you mean, i just went out and bought some after reading this and my fishys will get them for dinner
