Pearl Gourami

I was looking at the Pearl Gouramis at my LFS I was wondering if they get along fine with my female bettas,oto cats and guppies. Anybody had luck mixing these fish?

I have had my pearls with opaline gouramis, guppies, platies, corys, bristlenose plecos, blood parrot cichlids, kribensis, and african dwarf frogs - I have never had a problem with pearls!

Thnx that helped a lot coz I have Cories in the tank too maybe Otos will be OK as well. Now just to figure out if they'll live fine with female bettas, I have 7.

I would think that they would be fine, as female bettas are pretty peaceful. No more aggressive than a female guppy really.

Thnx I put it in my 35 and seems fine with them except for one agressive swordtail that chases everybody anyway, my swordtail bit the gouramis' feelers right away I know this stresses my Pearl Gourami so I just transfered my Swordtail to my 50 with the other swords

My pearl is the king of the tank, and he lets everyone know it. he mostly just makes the other fish move out of his way, and doesn't bother them after that. Pearls are my favorite FW fish!
