Pearl Gourami Male/female Ratio

I had a male and female Pearl Gourami, but the female died about a month ago. I'll be getting another female soon enough to keep him company, but I was wondering if I could get two females? Would it be likely there would be bullying/aggression with 2 females 1 male, or will they play happy families?

Pearls are one of the few gouramis that can be kept in pairs, although trios present no problems. So two females will be fine.
