It appears to have retracted into the skin?! Like it’s not sticking out a prominently as before. Any ideas?

I don't know, they are blurry. There's definitely an infection in the mouth that needs treating. It's probably bacterial. Apart from that I can't tell squat.

I know my camera is potato... i’ll get some pics with a different camera. Any medicines you recommend.

just a broad spectrum medication that treats bacteria, fungus and protozoan infections.
