ok the big question is when i move my paradise fish i have 8 of them 4 of each sex
now the ques is when i move 4 into the 25gal do i keep the 1-1 ratio or can i put 4 of same sex only and move them there or will i have plms ....
i know the clown fish and the pleco will take up space and the way i callucalted i will be over stocked if they reach their size so i want to make it as stress less for the clown loaches as possible that i will move 4 of the paradise fish and make room for them i have no idea what i can have in my tank with them to make them more interesting as you all know what i have in there

IN 90 GALLON

1-rainbow fish
2- sunset plattie the giant ones
8- paradise fish
11-cories
4 clown loaches
1- pleco the other one will join up later on as it a common plec and will out grow the 10 gal so its temp him (will move him in with the other in 90 gal

IN 10 GALLON

4 neon tetras
2 plattie fry
1 pleco and
6 peppered cory

i know its a little over stocked thats why im getting a 25 gallon in a mth or 2-3 mths at the most.. its definate and i do a fequent changes and checked the water its fine 0-0-10

Paradise fish don't mix well with other fish as they can be quite aggressive. Also, you should only keep one male as they will end up fighting.
We had 3 males and 3 females in a community tank for months with no problems, then as they got bigger, they started fighting with each other.
It might be an idea to either keep 1 male and 2-3 females in a tank on their own or take them back to the lfs.

Seriously..... I must be the only person in England to be the proud of owner of 3 gay Paradise fish!!

I keep hearing they are aggressive but in my tank I have 2 males and one female..... the males go everywhere together and the female just sits in the bushes!! Bless her.... she even hangs out with the Betta more than the others.....

Excellent!! I have gay fish!!!

I've had a paradise fish attack and kill a guppy and a tetra. Be careful; they have quite the temper. :(

I've looked the wrong way at a guppy and it died!

Anyways about the paradise fish, I keep two males in a planted 100lt cold water setup. They have the odd scuffle now and then but nothing major. Its more about re-asserting dominance, if there was a female in the tank then I defiantly wouldn't have two males as I'm sure the idea of "bumping uglies" would force them to tear strips off each other.

The only other suggestion I can give is don't keep paradise fish with fancy goldfish! You will see why in the pictures below. I was told you could but obviously you cant!

how large are your male Paradise fish? how long did it take yours to grow to that size?

I have had these fish for about 2 1/2 to 3 years at this stage When I bought them they where fairly small and they stopped growing after a year, so I would think it takes a year and a half for them to grow to full size. They are a super fish in my opinion and highly inquestive!

A couple more pics!
