Fish Fanatic
Sorry if this is a duplicate post -I thought I asked this recently but it seems to have disappeared...
My black male swordtail is getting paler. He's healthy otherwise- eating fine and chasing girls, but he is much paler across the top of his head back toward his dorsal fin.
Water stats are all fine. (156 litre tank; other fish are 4 platy/swordtail crosses, 4 guppies, 3 rosy tetras, 4 neon tetras, and about 10 fry about 1 inch long. Some of the fry seem a bit pale on top too but otherwise everyone seems healthy. Only recent change in tank - I installed a TetraTec CO2 diffuser. Would that cause him to go pale? I only use it every other day.
thanks!
Shelly
