very fat female swimming up down up down in corner of the tank, any ideas as to why?

only other occupents are her fry and apple snail

Is the fish trying to get away from bright light?

Or maybe swimming in the fastest flowing bit of the tank?

well i changed some water cleaned the filter it must have tripled the water flow rate turned up the airstone and within an hour she was fine and the tank was full of babies.

I use the darwinism selection prosses

Some of the livebearers (platys, mollies etc) tend to do that. I wouldn't call it unusual or anything to worry about, unless there are any other symptoms?

Well, if she is very fat and she is swimming up and down the corner of the tank, sounds like she is possibly about to drop. Does she have a gravid spot?

she has given birth now 2 days off exactly a month since she last dropped.

she isn't eating the young i know must have 40 babies of different ages in my tank once old enough i will seperate males and females
