Over Hearing Conversations In Lfs

Just thought we could share things we have overheard in a LFS and couldn't belive what we was hearing.

I've just been to pets @ home and there was a guy talking to one of the girls who worked there, he was asking for advice on his tank and was saying he was having some problems, she asked what size tank he had and the stock what followed shocked the staff and me who was being nosey

he had a 90 litre tank and 20 goldfish in it , think the problem with his tank is pretty bloody obvious, they couldn't even understand how he fit that many in his tank.

Haha I've just posted my own, i feel terrible about the fact i didnt speak up to a woman who was sold a common plec and two goldfish for a smallish tank (the guide she gave was by using her hands) and algae wafers because 'algae has no nutrients in it'

I once heard a lady say she was looking for a new tank for her goldfish as the 'container' she had it in was getting 'a bit too small' and it wasn't 'deep enough' anymore - it was living in a fruit bowl!

To be fair she did walk out with a new 10 gallon all in one kit which I suppose is an improvement, as long as she didn't put anymore in...
