Our New Girl

I love that last picture. I can't wait for Huxley to be totally up to date on her shots. She's getting her second set this week (she had her first set late). I've been taking the adults to the dog park and I know she would love it. Ginger really is gettin big though. How much does she weigh now?

When she was weighed on Sunday she was 4kg. I'll bet Huxley weighs much more!
I have a friend who has 3 English Mastiffs and they are like mountains in comparison! She reckons each paw weighs more than Ginger! lol

Mastiffs are magnificent. Huxley weighs about 15 pounds (roughly 7 kg). She'll be about sixty pounds when she's an adult. How about Ginger?

I think she may be similar in size to Freddy and he's just a smidge over 10kg now he's middle-aged.  So maybe 8-9kg something like that.

Just worked out that's around 18lbs.

What is your favorite part about having Miss Ginger?

Her vitality - which has definitely put a spring in Freddy's step altho I'd bet he sometimes wishes she'd leave him alone. He has his time out space upstairs in the bathroom where he skidaddles when the fireworks start up around bonfire night (and when he's had enough puppy-play now! lol)
