Otto eggs?

This Otto has been acting weird the last 3-4 days and hasn’t left this piece of driftwood and I noticed these little things nearby. Is it eggs or is something wrong with Otto?

Those are not eggs - fish eggs are spherical. It looks like fish poop to me, specifically poop from a fish that's been eating something green.

But I don't know why the oto hasn't moved from the wood.

the fish has moved, its facing a different direction in each photograph.

the fish is probably moving around at night and coming back to its resting area during the day.

the spots are either small fish or snail poop.

Thank you guys. Yea it moves around on the driftwood but I haven’t seen it leave it. Thought maybe it was guarding the “eggs” hahaha

you need algae in the tank or they starve. try increasing the light and let some algae grow on the back or sides.
