Oscars?

Yeah, I'm planning on moving most of the tetras and guppies/mollies.
I'm a tad worried about my little bala shark, but I suppose if I get a small oscar as well, they should grow nearly at the same rate. I would get more than 2 silver dollars... 4 or 5 sounds good to me. I've heard good and bad about the loaches.
This one is a planted aquarium too, I've heard oscars uproot a lot of plants.

haha. yeah. its not that they aren't fond of plants, but if there is something they don't like about their tank they'll fix it. i'd be more worried about the silver dollars shredding up plants because they are herbivorous. there are some really nice looking fake plants out there; i've got quite a few in my big tank. i just added a colombian catfish to my tank and i'm growing 6 silver dollars in a 20 gallon tank.

Minor Hijack...

I've got a 350L tank coming thats likely to have a single oscar in it, does that mean i can transplant my ever growing plec from my community 125L tank into the tank with the oscar? He's around 4" now but is a common sailfin and seems to be growing about an inch a month. I'd be getting a juvinile oscar so they'd be comparable in size i guess.

*** am soooo jelous*** , the oscar will give him jip at some point, but dont worry those plecs are better protected than the queen :)
