Fish Expert
Earthworms are ok to use. I feed mine a staple diet of Tetra Prima, Hikari Cichlid Gold, Algae Pellets (Don't really have a choice as he just grabs them before they hit the ground! 
) Bloodworm, Whiteworm, Brine Shrimp etc, then as a treat i chuck in three chopped up prawns for all of them and he gobbles about 4 pieces all at once and then can't swallow it all. lol.
But yeah, normal fish food is alot less messy and probably more nutritional for them.
