Oscar Tank Size.

Hi i was just wondering if I sold all of my fish that i have at the moment would it be possible to put a oscar in my tank with a few cory's. My tank is a aqua one 620t (130 litres). Thanks.

If your serious no you tank is far too small 75Gal is bare minimum for one

Ok then what other kind of bigger fish that will fit in my tank.

a pair of angels would just about be ok in that tank but an established pair only....

your tank is only 2ft wide so nothing big would be ok in there tbh. as its tall the angels would be fine.

I would probably sell or give my old fish away but i have 4 corydoras, 1 small angel, 2 glowlight tetras, 1 balloon molly, 2 guppies, 5 mixed danios, 1 oto, 1 male betta,1 thead thin rainbow and a swordtail.

if you want cichlids then to be honest things like rams might be a good choice. your tank has a decent volume but not much footprint. the water volume is higher than most 2ft tanks due to the height of your 620T.

like i said before an established pair of angels would work.

Oscars are similar to Koi and Goldfish IMO, as they will produce a lot of waste.

I'd personally only keep an Oscar in a 600+ litre aquarium. Even at that I'd be very anxious about ammonia/nitrite levels.

Like said before, you can't really get what I'd call a 'big' fish on that tank.
Why not go for a community with a single golden gourami as a feature fish, they are beautiful when fully grown at around 6 inches.
You could have a pair of dwarf cichlids in there aswell. Then a dither e.g tetra's and bottom dwellers e.g corydoras
