Hey guys, so I have a 75g tank on hold for me.

I have 5 platys and 9 swordtails, a couple cories and a syno. and 2 bn plecs

My local selection in Juneau is very limited so im looking to order live fish online, But Im worried.
Living in Alaska, and being landlocked, the usual overnight mail takes 3-4 days. so are there any sites that are better to use?
Also, whats the chance they'd make it?

probably 0%...

You would need to use a courier that specialise in livestock, normal mail is a big no-no in is situation.

I was just giving an example that overnight mail doesnt mean overnight where I live

Juneau is a fairly largish city. What about somewhere in Vancouver or BC? If you would find a shop/dealer there, could there not be an overnight delivery service that you could use?

Maybe, but it would still have to fly or come in by boat, and it would take 2 days minimum

BY the way, have you tried asking the LFS if they can order a special request in for you? I imagine that they have to get their livestock somehow during the winter months, so maybe that is possible?

This is might be the obvious, but if you know what fish you are interested in, have you tried googling it just to see if there is a small chance that someone in your city breeds them? Just a thought...

All the ones im interested in dont do well in community tanks with the fish I have
