i pick my new tank up tommorow (juwel 300) and was told there were a few gold fish with it, the guy just called me to let me know ill need bags for 18!!

awwww thats such a shame what they have done, i despise sellers that cant take ebay in the spirit in which it is meant, i just bought the same tank as that.. why not try emailing the seller ( of the 300) letting him know whats happend to you and make a lower offer, all he can do is say no

but as for the stinking seller that let you down like that .... well lets hope the tank develops a very nasty leak

just on the look out for my 300-600 ltr one now to replace the juwel rio 180

EDIT - after collection found the hex is 75 ltr not 55 ltr

ebay phoned me today and advised me to pay for the tank via paypal (as it was cash on collection) and then the seller has no choice but to contact me with collection details or be struck off from ebay

I wouldnt pay via paypal, if she doesnt contact you about picking it up, then you will have to go thru a long winded paypal dispute the get your money back.

Plus if I were the seller, I wouldnt accept the payment and refund it, because if you did collect it, then she has no proof of delivery, which would be required for a paypal dispute, so you could end up with the tank and the money ( I know you wouldnt do this, but it does happen).

Accept that she wont sell it to you, leave negative feedback and walk away.

and she can always sign up for a new id on ebay using another bank account ( and i know this as yrs ago i used ebay and totally forgot all about it, o signed up my bank acc that i use for DD, only to one day go to pay with my other card and be told it was allocated to another paypal account ), so i wouldnt risk it, just be glad you didnt deal with her cos she sounds bloody awful......... and besides you dont need that now you need your 300
