my 20L tanks been suffering from stag hair algae... so today i put the top of a filter i had spare in there to improve circulation...

within 5 mins of it going in one of my poor oto's swam into the impeller... his side and back have gone white but he's still breathing... i think one of his fins is missing...

i hope he'll recover...

the filters now got the plastic caseing over it... (i feel stupid for not putting it on beforehand)

lesson learnt...

he doesnt look to bad just shocked... so i hope he'll recover

Got any salts or melafix? Usually work in no time to help heal a fish if it has wounds or sores.

i dont... have anything...i might have some anti white spot and some leaf zone... but they wont help i might pick up something soon...
