One Or 2 Puffer Fish In This Tank?

If I was going to do that, I would go for only ONE Dwarf Puffer ONLY! And that's with some small plants and heavy aeration. And it's STILL pushing it.

if you have to get a tank that size don't get one at all, I'm not sure a fish exists that would ever live comfortably in an environment that size.... ever... well, maybe a SINGLE ghost shrimp wouldn't mind, but it would be the loneliest ghost shrimp ever.

thats not a fish tank its a pencil pot!
it would be very difficult to maintain being so small,i wouldnt bother if i was you, or at least wait ubtil something bigger comes your way,you will regret it if you do get it

shelagh xxx

It's a 7" square, thats plenty big for a fish that is only 2" long.....

length and whith is 7 inches and it looks like is 9 inches tall....
suurly that is big enough for one Betta.

That's the minimum. It's like you living in a bedsit for the rest of your life.

erm..... not really mate, puffer fish aren't the easeyest things in the world to look after, i would reccomend a min of 90 litres.

Better to be safe than have fish snuffing it, left, right and centre.

[the problem with puffers is that they are messy, but sensitive. which means you need a large body of water and good filtration, which you cant really get on tanks that size.

"big enough" is a relative term mate...

Imagine you were never allowed to leave your bedroom ever again, you could pee in the corner, someone drops food in the window the air is stagnant, the scenery never changes, you have no friends and the only way you get to leave is if you die.

Sound fun?

E bay yourself into a 7 inch box then.

In the mean time, pony up the EIGHT extra bucks and do it right

Your welcome shelagh, but what i find most funny is this:

Compact acrylic aquarium kit lets you create an underwater landscape virtually anywhere. Great for your desk at the office, displayed in your dorm room, or for children's rooms. Complete kit includes tank, filter, and lighting. Offered in a variety of colors.

It should read

"This cute 7 inch box-o-death will entomb any fish you choose to force your child, office workers or dorm mates, to watch die! Complete kit includes NO information on the nitrogen cycle, fishless cycling ammonia nitrite or nitrate testing and absolutely no information on stocking this little 7 inch death-machine!"

But hey, its not about the fish out there... its all about how to rake in the cash
