Omg! This Is All French To Me?!

i found tropical just as easy as coldwater the only real difference is a heater and a wider variety of fish to choose from, even with coldwater fish it is best to go through the cycle process, and if your thinking goldfish wise, they grow a lot bigger than many people think and produce a lot of waste

I wouldn't buy a biorb or biube.

They are supposed to be an easthetically nice tank rather than practical but I think they look terrible.
They distort the vision so anything inside looks like its in the hall of mirrors at the circus.
They are realtively small for the size they take up
They look like water dispensers rather than tanks
The surface area to water volume of water is not large enough so oxygen can often be a porblem (hence the silly volcano airstones)
They are hugely expensive.

I could go on.

You can get a Fluval 800 Duo Deep for £130 in Pets at Home including filter, heater and many foods and meds which is 125Ltr/30USG and this is double thevolume to the Biorb/ube for the same price (and it doesn't distort the view)

The tank in my signature is a FluvalDuoDepp800 which I bought off ebay, fully equipped although second hand and I have upgraded most of the equipment since) for £40
