OMG OMG WTF HAPPENED

Just stating the obvious, somehting is stressing him out, bettas loose their color when something is bothering them.

Can you post ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph and temp?

When you did the last water change, did you remember to add dechlorinator?

Anything else new within his tank? Any chance someone else could have added something without your knowing? Was anything sprayed around his water?

If you have salt, go ahead and add it to his tank, that seems to be a general remedy to try to keep him more comfortable.

As for specifics, I have no clue what is wrong with him. I am seeing some red streaks on him, but i couldn't tell you if that is from whatever is wrong or if it is residual coloring. Check out this LINK. Could it possibly be Septcemia?

I cant see the first pic.
But I agree somthing dtressed him out :dunno:

Ammonia:0
Nitrite:0
Nitrate:0
PH:7.0
Temp:75 F

Last Time I changed the water was a few days ago 100%. I did add dechlor. Theres no new decorations. No one has been in my apartment except me for 2 months. Nothing was sprayed around his tank. I just added some aquarium salt and stress coat. The red streaks are actually brown the camera just made him look like that. At first he was dark brown.

I'm waiting VERY patiently for the pics to load (my connection is very slow) so I haven't seen the pics yet.

What size tank is he in?

Poor guy. It looks like he might not be feeling great. Maybe raise your temp gradually to something around 80? Wait and see if you can catch him poop, and see if it is white and stringy.

The before pic is in the cup I got him in. The after pic is in a small betta tank. He lives in a one gallon. Hes using the bathroom fine. And his fins are a little curly now. I'll turn up the heater.

Where is his tank located? Could a chemical hae gotten in there?

His tank is right next to my 20 gallon. There is no way a chemical could have gotten in that tank. It would have gone into the 20 gallon too.

Mine do that after a water change..it signals to me..that they deserve a frozen bloodworm treat...as it means they are super pissed at me.

But what that means is...they are stressed. Have you moved him recently? Changed anything you usually do or don't do? Some bettas are finicky.

Hes tank has always been next ot the big tank and I always have the same routine with him.

Try adding 1 tablespoon of salt per 5 gallons...and see if that doesn't perk him up a bit.
