Oldest Fish

What is the oldest fish that people have had?,
I have had two Clown Loaches that lived for 20 yrs,
and I have three that are about 9 yrs, the two I lost
recently were about 15.

I had a gold fish and an unknown type of Danio (I think it was... this was before I was in to fish keeping, my mom was the fish keeper) which both lived for 5 years.
I had a Betta live to six years

I have a clown plec that I know is fifteen (it's about six months younger than my middle son ) and I have few rescued catfish that I've had twelve years, and they were already nearly adult when I got them, so they must be nearing the same age. I also have some tiger barbs and zebra loach that are nearly eight.

My grandparents have a pair of koi that are supposedly more than 70 My grandmother is 73, and she says the koi are older than she is.
They aren't tropical, though, so I don't know if that counts.

I have a Severum that I think is about 7 I have had her nearly 3 years and her previous owner had her 4 and he said she was a decent size when he got her so she could be older

I can't verify it, but our Pleco Bruce is said to be between 16-18 years old. We have only had him for 1 year mind. He apparently spent his life in a tank which can't have big no larger than 30 litres I think it is safe to say he is happier in a 5ft tank, although I have to admit I didn't want to take him, but felt sorry for him. He causes far too much poo though, never have a clean tank!!

I have some Clown Plecs that I've had for probably 15 years. Also had a couple of Sterbai that were at least 12 years old.

Some of my clown loaches are from 15 to 20 years old, and my raphael catfish is said to be nearly 30 years old!

My oldest is a Molly probably about a year old. I have had him for about 7 months, and assuming it was around 5 months when I bought it.

This is so good to hear of other older fish,
when I have told aquatic shops that I've had
fish live to 20 they did'nt believe me.
