i think you could be right star that they are lutino , as they are darker at the tail end which gradualy fades into a much lighter colour towards the head .

I have to say there is something about an oscar. They never appealed to me before untill I saw Tigger in the flesh and fell in love, then I went and got my Rusty who is a little darling (not mentioning the devil fish ) they do have a certain appeal, I dont think I will ever be without an oscar now

You will be surprised how quick they grow mate i have had mine 2 weeks tomorrow and he has already grown and inch and half

Very sweet, they wont stay that way for long and they are indeed Lutino

You may want to re-think the sand, as they grow you will have major problems keeping it clean as Im sure you've read, Oscars are poop machines and even on gravel its a full time job cleaning up after them. I would also move those cories/rams etc asap, whilst they may look small right now, those mouths will try to eat anything, even if it doesnt quite fit yet

good thinking Minxy It didnt take you long to home in on baby oscars. I didnt pay attention to the sand and the way they dig and shovel stuff about its a shame house bricks dont make good substrate

cheers minx. dont worry the corys and rams are going to be moved on , they are only in there as i have nowhere else to put them and the oscars are still too small to be a threat , but they will be gone before that happens .
