1. Unless my eyes deceive me, it's a common plec in the pic.
2. It's not fully grown so cant be sexed.
3. They only spawn in large breeding ponds, never in fish tanks.
4. THEY WANT £150 FOR IT!!!!

I posted this on Plecofanatics too, and it turns out someone else emailed her and explained that they cant have bred and she said (and I quote):

well she must be a miricle of modern day biology then because i assure you she and our male produced an offspring which we passed on to a friend so in this case i'm afraid you are mistaken. Thank you for your input

What a scammer! I mean, only one baby? From two plecs that dont breed in fish tanks? They just happened to give it to a friend? What a load of crap!

I should be getting £300 pounds for my 2 commons then.
I heard they needed atleast 16 squared feet to breed in.
 
I saw one at the LFS for AU$20 the other day. I bet someone really stupid buys it for 150.
