Oh Dear......i'm A Little Worried!

Moving into my own place on December 1st and have lots of room for prospective tank/tanks!! I have shut everything down that I have at the minute but have 5 tanks in my attic at current house!!

How long do you think it will be before they are all set up in the front room at the new house??

I am going into a 2 bed terrace with 2 reception rooms so have loads of space downstairs in the front room. 4 small 18x10x10, 1 a bit bigger, 24x12x12 I think plus will be having either my Rio 180 back or maybe a 260 litre of some form, obviously the bigger the better!!

Scary times for my girlfriend who does not know all this yet,ssshhhhhhhhhhh. Really getting revved up for planning what will go into each one! Roll on the Winter!

Sounds like fun! I only have one tank so far, but itching for another already. Good luck breaking the news to your roomie.

i'd clean all the tanks out thouroughly and have them all cycling at the same time. that way, when you're buying fish, you're not as limited for the number of fish you can buy... but there'd be quite a lot of organizing when you get them home... i'd suggest very slow set ups though, they're normally better for when you do eventually get fish stocked, and it'll give your gf time to want fish in all the aquariums

Good, solid advice DJ. Think I am going to make sure the house is all up and running first then set-up my biggest tank, making sure that is all hunky-dory and that I have enough time to maintain the smaller ones that I am planning on.

Going to fishless cycle the biggest one, not sure what size it will be yet, thinking 5 foot, and then use that to clone the smaller tanks from, absolute doddle!

As stated in another thread though, don't think I will have the big one set-up until after Xmas due to having to make sure the house is habitatable first.
