As an Experiment I stopped using any Decholrinator about 1.5 months ago.
I still dose with Plant Food, but nothing else.
Not lost any fish from it(not even Endler Fry) and plants are healthier. The Swords have sent Flower stalks to the surface and i'm waiting for them to flower.
I do a 25% water change by siphoning the water out into the Mums Vegetable patch. Then plug the Siphon into the outdoor hose connection and just fill the tank up.
Anyone else tried this.
