Right, so my dad has a 45gal tank, which he used to stock with:
1 RTBS
1 tyretrack eel
1 delhezi bichir
5 clown loaches
2 common plecs
1 bn plec
3 headstanders
1 platy
1 swordtail
1 dwarf gourami
2 opaline gourami
1 syno
5 congo tetras
1 bala shark
1 elephant nose
I convinced him to get rid of the common plecs, bala shark, and elephant nose. 2 clowns died and i took one opaline gourami for my tank.
So the current stocking is:
1 tyretrack eel
1 delhezi bichir
3 clown loaches
1 rtbs
3 headstanders
1 platy
1 swordtail
1 dwarf gourami
1 opaline gourami
1 syno
5 congo tetras.
The syno is bullied so bad by the RTBS, and everything elses fins are ripped to shreads by the headstanders.
My dad is going on a cruise in july with my mum, so it will just be me and my sister here.
I was thinking of taking a lot of the fish to the lfs when he is gone, and getting new, more appropriate ones? Do you think I should do this? I have tried so much to convonce him to do it, but he wont. I'm thinking of getting rid of the headstanders, the eel, and the RTBS at least. If they are still all alive lol.
So... should I do it? =/

. So I caught as many fish as I could, but focused on the ones that really needed help. Including a 12" common pleco and a locally caught Yellow Perch that hadn't eaten in over 4 months. The perch was skin and bones. I released him back into the lake, hopefully he made it. The others went to a good LFS.
