Well picked up the other MH today, got it off flee-bay for a tenner, makes me cry when I spent 120 on my new one. Bonus he gave ma a bucket of reef crystles for free.
I have a 3' a 30" and a 18" tank avalible. I'm thinking that the 3' will be a communal sump that both tanks drain to housing skimmer and heaters and the like. The 30" will be a DSB/fuge and the 18" as a top-off tank. Might get some drawings done today.
Looks good to me matt. You want both drains to drain to the same spot and the pump to be split at the top for ease and simplicity of operation. Using multiple pumps etc gets tricky at best. If the logistics of fiting the tanks works, I'd go with what you've got. Your other option is to swap the 30 and the 36" tanks, but thats really not much of a difference
