This is probably the most stupid question asked on here, but has anyone ever cleaned a snail before, I had a party last night and someone thought it would be funny be draw a nice picture on my apple snail with a sharpie, I assumed it would wash off but no its still there. Any safe way to try and remove it with a toothbrush or anything or will it fade in time would rather remove it as it kinda ruins the look of my tank. Should add the culprit has been banned from my house and any further parties.

it will fade with time. the only things that would remove it could hurt/kill your snail. glad to hear that friend has been banned!!!

he needs to grow up, drawing willies on stuff was funny when u were 11 or 12 not 24. OK will wait for it to fade. Good job snails dont get embarrassed though i suppose
