Not Just Fish, But....

Football, golf, tennis, travel, DVD's and the pub. (in no particular order.. although saying that, I tend to do the pub after each of the sports)

Cryptozoology...

Found any?

I also dabble in html & php coding but again that's just to get websites done and get paid not really for fun, sometimes it's very stressful, esp. when you know how something is done, you've done it hundreds of times before but for that split second you just can't think of it and get annoyed at yourself for being so silly when you remeber how easy it is(or maybe that's just me lol)

Yep happens to me all the time :) Whats worse though is when everything is set up exactly as it should be and nothing appears to be wrong but it still wont work! (then you end up spending hours checking everything to find a > in the wrong place or a cable thats unplugged :) ).

Sarah- I happen to work for a company that used to make a lot of digital cameras so we have a lot of old stock and parts here that I get to borrow :) At the moment they are not exactly "user friendly" but if they work ok I might actually put them together a bit nicer and make them easier to setup so they can be sold.

With regards to the guppies, Sometimes it suprises me just how stupid fish can be. A good example is whenever I'm trimming up the plants in my tank my blue rams come over to investigate. This is very cute but when I'm using a pair of really sharp scissors I would prefer to not have my fish swim in between the blades as i'm closing them!!!!
I also used to have glowlight tetras that would swim into the gap between an internal filter and the side of the tank and get stuck (this is why I dont use internal filters anymore).

Motorbikes are my other main hobby, but Scuba diving is a more recently acquired interest which will likely prove scary/expensive/fascinating on varying levels!
It will probably come as no surprise that my interest in that (apart from my other half being a diver) has come from watching my fishy friends in their tank and wanting to see fish in their natural environment.
:good:

I crochet a bit and do a lot of reading. I bought a new sewing machine recently and hope to try my hand at quilting soon. :kana:

Can totally sympathise, I'm working on a site at the moment that has an oscommerce cart on it, adding a few new pages to the information box and the last one I come to do has messed up, can't for the life of me think why, I'm sure it'll be a ' or a minor typing error of the filename, just can't see it. Another irritating thing is when you get a Tstring error and have to sit and find that ' to put the slash in, very annoying when it's a very very long piece of text.

Classic example; after I took my pc over to a relatives(long story) got back plugged it all back in and couldn't work out why it was saying there was no keyboard connected, took me a good 10 mins to realise I'd plugged the mouse into the keyboard socket and vice versa, my own fault really I couldn't be bothered pulling the flipping thing out to get to the back to look properly, I just felt around to make sure everything was plugged in.

I have a sewing machine as well but I only make clothes now and again, it's very satisfying getting to wear something you've made, esp. when it's taken a long time to make it. Good luck with the quilting :)

Reptile keeping, computers, books, Music (rock, punk rock...I hate pop music) starting to do warhammer 40k (got loads of it last crimbo but never properly started it)...I suck at it though
And I like to play rugby..Not a hobby but oh well.

Songwriting, music, drawing, singing, dancing, cooking, animals, football, basketball. :hyper: :hyper:

And my favorite hobby. Eating! :good:

besides fish keeping, i like music, painting, drawing, and drinking. that about it, i live in a very small town.

My other hobbies include stuff like drawing/art, making stuff out of clay, making jewelery, collecting random stuff like fossils, beads, bits of archaeology like coins and stone tools, keeping my rats, collecting dvd's (i watch lots of movies and stuff, last time i counted my dvd collection earlier on this year there was over 500 dvd's), studying random subjects like history and paleontology, collecting japanese kimono, occasionally playing Final Fantasy 12, gardening, watching birds, cooking, reading etc...

I've probably missed some hobbies, there often just isn't enough time or money to devote to most of them, so i tend to go through phases of concentrating my time more on some hobbies than others. The fish are a very constant hobby for me though, 'cos there's animals involved they've always gotta take priority :) .

I play guitar, compose music (all kinds of music; metal, rock, classic, you name it.) Studying fine arts major, compulsive drawer/painter. Started doing a little photography over the summer. And i cook. Yea. :fun:
