My glowlughts that were acting up are still a bit dull in colour, but seem a
Little better. All the other fish are still happy though!

Its Pets at Home Disease medicine - just a general medicine that i got for free a few months back.

HOWEVER!!!!!!

Maybe i have been missing something that i deemed small..... a week ago my algae eater went a bit nuts - killed my shark, and bullied my dwarf Gourami litrally into a corner. I tried everything, but i am afraid he had to go Anyway, my dwarf gourami had one of his -sorry for the non tech term- whiskers(?) bitten before the algae eater went. I thought it would just grow back. SO currently he has one full, and one half length.

WELL, having come home from work this evening, i can see a 'growth' on the end of his half whisker. It looks like it a bit frayed, or like its growing something white, like mould on it.

Could this be the problem? He is STILL REALLY ill, not moving much, hovering on the bottom etc

fin rot and fungus meds come to mind but you should really finish one med at a time

Ok, my poor wee fishy was put in QT 4 days ago now! I added a second batch of medicine last night (as per instructions) but today he is still swimming/lying at the bottom at an angle What can i do?

I ordered some API Pimafix and Melafix which arrived today. The pimafix is for antifungal. I hear its the best stuff to use. Is there a way i can remove my medicine from yesterday and put this in instead, or do we think the grim reaper is calling for my fish seen as there has been so sign of improvement in QT?

Poor wee fishy - hes gonna go over night i think - keeps flopping over onto his side at thr bottom of the tank again.

I dont like not knowing whats wrong, so can anybody think why he's got like this and not recovered from the midicine? I thought it may be the infected tentical thingy, but the medicine aint helped, and hes just getting worse. Could it be that Dwarf Gs just dont last long - as the biffster pointed out to me, an artical stated Dwarf Gs from local shops only have a lifespan of a months!
