Nitrite Problem!

Sounds fine. Cram as much media in there as you can without cutting down the flow.

just tested again and nitrites are at 4ppm nitrates are 80!

i just did a 50%water change yesterday!!!

what should i do at the moment until i run out and grab the extra foam filter?
all the fish are fine...babies are eating like little piglets!

Another water change - definitely.

about how much water?
and could it be that maybe the decholinator is scewing the results?

Around 50% again - must get those readings down. Can't see that the dechlor could be the cause.

alright just checked it again and its at about 2-3ppm...im getting irritated!!!
i have to leave for spring break tomorrow and im afraid the levels wont go down
