I have a 10 gallon tank that I've have for about 5-6 weeks.

I have 2 fish in it - a molly and a swordtail.

The nitrates improved once I added them but as you can see from the results below the Nitrites are still too high.

I've been changing the water once a week (3 gallons each time) and been adding a little salt. And I've tried witholding food for a day every week or so.

Is there anything else I can do to get the Nitrites down ?

Wait..that is all. Is your ammonia zero? The nitrites will not fall to zero until the tank is fully cycled. SH

I'm not sure about my ammonia - I have a C-100 bag inthere thoug so it should be pretty low.
