Looking at Float Switches for a auto top-off and wanting to know what will be non-toxic to life in the aquarium?

Nylon Body Material with Nitrile Gasket

or

PPS Body with Viton&Silicone Gasket

or

PP Body with Nitrile Gasket

???????????

Also I know copper fitting are a no no but what about Nickel Plated Brass? or Stainless Steel?

Nylon should be fine, I'm not familiar with PP, silicon should be great as well. stainless steel is ok if it is the correct grade, I can't remember the correct grades to use in marine tanks. You may be able to find titanium fittings online, even on ebay to replace the stainless steel or brass fittings.

PP=Polypropylene (most common plastic)

PPS=polyphenylene sulfide

Titanium you say I'll have a look for that on the Interweb, if you can remember witch grade of steel is ok for marine use than I would welcome that infomation with open arms.

Thnks again superman....... you realy are a super man!

Don't give me too many compliments, I already have a HUGE EGO! :D

316 SS is the grade that will work, but over long periods of tim it will start to corrode, all stainless steel will eventually corrode in saltwater. I would look into the Titanium, it is an awesome metal!
