dwarf puffer, some tetras, betta, gouramis (except for kissing gouramis), shrimp, snails, harlequins, scarlet badis, but you are not limited to these. pick one fish that you like the most, and we could give you an idea

thanks for the reply, i was thinking of getting around 5 glow light tertras, i just need to know what to buy, ie ( tank and accsesories)

That tank would be fine, if all you want is a few glowlights and shrimps. If you can get something bigger, though, that would be better. Most newcomers who get small tanks very quickly realise that they want more, different kinds of fish and have to buy another tank! Bigger tanks are actually easier to look after too, as larger volumes of water are more stable than small ones.

You'll need a heater (that tank come with a built in filter, so you don't need one of those) and some water test kits.

I think everyone on here would agree that it's best to do a fishless cycle, before you add any fish to the tank. 'Cycling' means growing the good bacteria in your filter that eat the fish's wastes for and stops the water turning toxic. To do that, you need a bottle of ammonia. It's fairly easy to get in DIY/homestore type shops (it's sold as a household cleaner).
