Thank you both!
I originally started out with 6 zebra danios last April.
Then added 4 panda corys,
4 glass shrimp and
2 assassin snails.
Prior to a few nights ago, my 20 gallon long stocking was
5 adult zebra danios,
12 five month old zebra danios (from the great zd spawn of Easter!),
4 assassin snails,
1 glass shrimp,
2 adult panda corys and
every low-med light aquarium plant known to man.
When I got home a few nights ago I noticed something wriggling around in the substrate - a baby panda cory!!! Has to be a few weeks old (can't believe I missed it being so plant happy recently). I then noticed they were in a T formation and acting VERY energetic for a few hours (sort of like my upstairs neighbors on a saturday night) so I knew something was going on!
So I have removed all but ONE stubborn z.d. into a 20 gallon short driftwood scape I was making (already cycled) and now I have
2 adult panda corys
1 five week old panda cory
1 glass shrimp
4 assassin snails
1 fresh clutch of panda cory eggs!!! about 12 of them!
The amazing part of it all is I am also working on a 55 gallon mountainscape with carpeted plants using the dry start method, so I was on schedule to have to relocate the zdanios soon anyway. Now I may have to put that on the back burner while I raise my baby pandas!!!
Any help you guys can provide would be appreciated!!!
