Well got this pretty boy last night when I was picking up wuv's kids It was so hard to choose between him and that double tailed copper , but he won out in the long run. His tail in really tore up from his extremely long trip , but I can fix that!

I have stopped naming them actually. I never named my fish until I got bettas...now I have just started numbering them to help keep up with breeding. The first few still have their names though,lol congrats on yours she always has beautiful fish!

Well I try lots of different thing for different pics...for these I put him in a beanie baby box(acrylic 4"x4"x8" box)with another male on one side and a female on one side. I used a halogen desk light as a spot and took them in macro with a flash from around 4" away or so. I think the best advice is take lots of pics (45 to get these 4).

I get all my bettas from local fish shops but I think to get them THAT nice in England you'd have to get from a breeder.

He is from a breeder, Strait's Aquariums...by a very round about route.

But I have gotten 2 of my best fish at lfs.
