At the mo i do not have any fish . But i intend to restart my fish house 10ft by 8 ft i had over 20 yrs ago .
I was a member of Sheaf Valley A.S and also a show judge in the Y.A.A.F region . My first love was livebeares i had gold sailfins but my fav was the Brakyraphys Robdofora Excuse the spell been a long time. But any of the rarer livebeares i could get .
I dont know how hard it will be to get some now days as i have lost all of my contacts so if any one as any differant types they would like to sell please let me know .
I also used to breed corys for my local tfs that would help keep the fish in food and bits an bobs . But this time i fancy trying to breed the tetras as well as my livebeares
I also go out sundays metal detecting good fun

It sounds like you are a newbie only to this forum and not to fishkeeping. I hope you enjoy it here. There should be plenty of people who can point you toward the rarer fish you desire.

HONG KONG--Aquarium fish center of the world

I have purchased fish (freshwater and saltwater) from Hong Kong and brought them in several times. I have brought in Fancy Goldfish, Discuses, and marine fish of many kinds.

The selection is great and the prices are easily 20-40% that in the US. Strange is that even fish from the Atlantic are great and much cheaper.

The airline Cathy Pacific had not given my much trouble as long as I checked my treasures in as lugguage and not as carry-on. Every time I went to Hong Kong I would have a shopping spree in the morning for freshwater fish and in the afternoon in saltwater fish.

In my Custom form I wrote "tropic fish for personal enjoyment" and have never had trouble at LAX.

The savings paid for a third or a quarter of the airfare.

The question is:

I have not done so after 9/11/2001. If you have done so after 9/11/2001, please tell me about your recent experience.
