Newbie With Questions Please

Hi everyone,

my very first post here so HELLO to everyone,

I have purchased my daughter who is mad on fish a 95ltre tank last week and have many questions but i am a complete novice to keeping fish.

My water currently is blooming it has gone all misty been like this for 3 days now tank was filled 1 week ago.

QUESTION: when will this blooming finish and water clear.

Question: Tropical fish what temperature should water be at.?

Question: The whole cycle how long will this take as i purchased a chemical that said on the bottle matures water in 3 to 5 days?

Question: All the levels PH and everything else is there a guide to follow or a link to a chart on the inetrnet.

Question: When will it be ok to add fish and then what do i do to keep the water correct.

Queation LAST ONE, water changes how much water do i change and how often do i change the water and also do i do a water change while the water is in its cycle.?

It varies, but ultimately around 25-26 C

Ignore the bottle and if there's no fish in there, do a fishless cycle. This could take anywhere from 2-6 weeks (this can be speeded up if you know anyone with a mature filter that would be willing to dontate some media.)

Ignore the pH for now, unless it is below 6.5

about 10-20% a week.

This is the thread you need to have a really good read of. You need to get an API liquid master test kit (about £20 with p+p from eBay) The readings that gives will tell you when it's time to add fish.

i have found API test kits to give bogus readings, especially with nitrate and ammonia
