Enthusiastic "Re-Beginner"
Yes, I should qualify my cory experience so that I'm not simply repeating incorrect things! My own personal experience with cories (can never decide whether "corys" or "cories" is the correct word in these sentences, argh!) was of finding them very hardy almost all the time (kept a fair number of mostly common larger types: leopard(?), albino, bronze(?)) and never would have hesitated putting them in at the beginning. But part of the reason I call myself a "Re-Beginner" is that I had no conscious knowledge of the nitrogen cycle back in those days, no refinement whatsoever of the relationship between my fish and their water for the most part.
So when I've helped MW, BTT, OM47, RDD, rabbut and all the other members with the large flow of beginner help threads, I've run across a number of comments at times that seemed to express some concern for some of the cories going in right away. Maybe MW can help me out here, don't remember quite when that crept into things we were repeating or how to break it down as very correct or not. The concern about Panda's being delicate probably just contributed to it.
So perhaps we should "debunk" this a bit right here and now! Inchworm and OM47, you two are I'm sure by far much more expert about cories and having already got some good feedback from OM47, I'd love to hear Inchworms opinion at a prioritized "hardiness" list for cory species (you know, just roughly, maybe based on informed experience or intuition type thing). However you wanted to express it Inchworm... Most hardy down to least hardy top 10, for adding to a new tank right after fishless cycle, that sort of list.
